What foods boost the Immune System.

Some of the foods in my list are different than many others recommend. Notably are gluten grains, black tea, low fat yogurt and the serious harm of copper on some people.

  • Red bell peppers. If you think citrus fruits have the most vitamin C of any fruit or vegetable, think again. …
  • Broccoli. Broccoli is supercharged with vitamins and minerals. …
  • Garlic. …
  • Ginger. …
  • Spinach. …

  • Green tea Avoid black teas
  • Papayas
  • Kiwi’s
  • Poultry (chicken soup for a cold)
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Zinc,may shorten a cold’s duration Zinc will also remove heavy metals (1)

    • oysters, red meat, eggs, beans and pumpkin seeds.
  • Be aware of your copper levels, high copper in some individuals destroy the immune system (2)
  • Soy, Avoid soy many promote soy yet others blame it for harming the immune system.
  • Lemons, especially the  lemon peel.
  • Ceylon Cinnamon, avoid most grocery store cinnamon,  use only Ceylon cinnamon
  • Stevia
  • Beef, do not exceed 25% of meat in your diet
  • Mushrooms
  • Sweet potatoes, especially good for people with diabetes
  • Avoid gluten foods Wheat, Barley and Rye. These grains are often listed to help the immune system, however an increasing number of people (35% or more) are having adverse reactions to them. I suspect it is because of genetically altered species.
  • Avoid all GMO’s
  • Elderberry
  • Acai berries

  • Apples, but beware they are high in copper.

  • Brazil nuts, very high in selenium and magnesium

  • Magnesium
  • Manganese will remove high copper levels
  • Vitamin D-3
